Twin turbo build 6766s

Well its that time again. I get tired of things and new tools need use sooo... I got rid of the procharger and am building a full custom twin turbo system. I have most of the things I need and a couple of weeks leave to get this thing done.

Parts list:

Precision 6766 turbos
Precision 40m wastegates
Motion Raceworks header build kit with 2.5 inch collectors, and 1.75inch primaries
Bell inter cooler core 17x22x6
Bell radiator core
Bell oil cooler core

Waiting on a:
BOV may go with a single Precision 64mm or twin Tial 50mm not sure yet
2.5 cold side piping
turbo feed lines

Goals:
1100+ whp
5.6s in the 1/8
8s in the 1/4
Have fun with the build.

Pics to follow.

Not on stock internals. The car has made 910 to the wheels with the F1A.

I defiantly will. I am going to finish all of my tube welding tomorrow at work, then I'll fit them to the header flange should be done in a week. Gonna be loud. Venting the gates to the atmosphere should be good.

Dam that's gonna be a killer setup. Are the turbos in the engine bay or where the cats would go. We'll be waiting for some wicked number on the dyno and at the track.

Turbos are going in the engine bay. I "made" some space. The engine bay is gonna look a little different. Hopefully it'll be making some noise soon.

Are you going with the vband in exhaust housings or the t4?

I am hoping i max out my 62/66’s and am forced to jump up to the 67/66’s. That would be a good problem to have.

I went with the T4, and no joke two days later they released the new large v band housing. I've been watching your build and saw you creeping up in power. I figured you'd max them soon. Are you going to the the new v band housing?

Yahhooo; another turbo build!!! Exciting to see you take on the challenge.

couple of questions for ya tho:

1. where do you plan to mount the hairdryers?
2. what boost controller do you plan to use? i've had good luck with eboost2 or leash
3. corn fuel?

mount them underhood

They will be in the engine bay kinda where the Hellion places them. I am going to use an EBoost2 to control until I add port injection. And she will be on ethanol for sure.

I didn’t know they had a larger vband set up. I might have to change my set up to accept those if I get to the point I need the 67’s

I think the small exhaust housing 62’s will take me to 1200rwhp. I am sure I will have many issues to work through before I can use all that power effectively.
