Low Dyno numbers
Ive had my Z dyno'd twice and have put up numbers in the 435rwhp to 440rwhp range. This is way below normal for an automatic. I'm going to the dealership to see what can be done but something's gotta happen because I paid 60k for a 580hp car and right now that's not what I have. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have to check to be sure what types of Dyno machines were used. It was done at 2 different shops over the past 2 weeks. The car was allowed 30+ minutes to cool with fans. It's South Louisiana so it's more humid than most places. I think about 50% on both days.

The car feels fine honestly but if it's a problem it may have been there since day 1. It's completely stock. I just hope GM doesn't give me the run around.

440hp? On a $60,000 car? Disgraceful. I would tell them to fix it or buy it back.

Dyno reading low? Not all garages jack up numbers for popularity.
I highly doubt GM would have shipped a car down big in the power department. Aren't they all (either engines or through the wheels) dyno'd before leaving the plant?

It should have been run in Manual in 4th gear. If it was run in Sport and let shift on it's own your numbers will be off.

Did another pull and the car dyno'd at 483rwhp. I feel much better about that.
