Yeah! No better feature to copy than those, IMO... But more than just that...rumor is the tail lights are heavily inspired by Camaro, too. If this all pans out - they may yet bear the strongest family resemblance to each other, EVER!

I personally always thought the 5th gen Camaro tail lights were in turn inspired by corvette. Four individual somewhat rounded tail lights instantly struck me as corvette-like the first time I saw pictures of the the 5th gen.

That's just me though. Although early 2nd gen Camaros had similar tail lights to the 5th gen too, which could have been inspired by 2nd and 3rd gen vettes... meh I don't know, it doesn't matter really ha ha ha.

If ya'll watch the new video on Chevrolet's website you might notice something interesting.... from time frame around :26 to around :28 look at the door very carefully as he closes it, I rewound it a couple times but the more I watch, the more that looks like a vertical door.... WHICH personally I think is interesting/neat I know some people might disagree

Interesting, I just watched it and it may just be the transition of the video creating an optical illusion. Guess we will see.

Definitely! The result is distinct, and edgy shape on the Camaro. So they can take that result and polish it up to suit the Vette, now.

The look of this car will be the most radical departure from "Corvette-dom" in decades...

Good find!

http://wot.motortrend.com/spied-2014...11-280227.html

Looks sleek...The one thing I can't get over with Corvette drop-tops is the tennis-court sized deck...When I'm so used to seeing Coupe models with long, sweeping rear windows, etc....it just looks wrong.

I love how these cars slowly lose the cladding over time. Looks like the rear diffuser is going to be pretty aggressive.
