Seat Recliner button won’t work.

So my friend has a 2SS and his driver side seat won’t recline with the buttons. Any way to fix this? Or would he have to take it to the dealership? He’s wondering if he can just manually move it or just buy the part somewhere online

Answer would be

A. Yes you can buy the switch or motor and replace it (if your sure which is the issue).
B. If it is less than 3 years old and has less than 36,000 miles let the dealer do it for free.

Won't move at all?
Or just won't recline past a certain point? Because that's normal, actually.

Yeah. Unless you take the seat out and break out the drill, the seat doesn’t recline.
