I started with a full foam wash, then I used a clay bar, then I compounded the whole car with Meguiars rubbing compound, then I used ultimate polish from meguiars, after that I finished with a Meguiars wax! I got a Meguiars car kit for my birthday lol It was a hassle but it came out great! pictures do not show the real reflections! Should of had a before and after
Pressure washer is probably one of the best investments ever!!

yup. As far as I know there isn't any source of these in the after market. The main company doing aftermarket painting of stock pieces (rivercity) might do something with them but I haven't checked.

I chose to dip them first as a test to see what the process is like so I can get my interior pieces perfect. I plan on doing some silver/chrome pieces with the same pattern. Under-hood will get some attention too but probably in a different pattern.

Blacked out Bow Tie

I used 3M Wrap for the front Bow Tie (what a PITA) and painted the back emblem Satin Black (very easy). Painted licence plate frame metallic gray to match car. Also a pic of my Fifty Mats I got last week

.

The 50th Anniversary Camaro comes with the SS badge painted in gray. You can probably buy them like that.

Here is one source. I'm sure there are many others.

I'm not sure i can get behind the fifty when there's 7 missing years in there Feels like cheating when you sit out for the good part of a decade.

I painted my front and rear SS logos using a process very similar to how I painted the SS's on my seats. Info/Guide Here

To paint the exterior SS's I'd suggest pulling them off the car to paint, much easier that way. The front SS is just clipped in place, it pops off easily. The rear goes back on using 3M tape.
