well over the weekend we tried to plug it in to a car we where working on, bad move the cluster went black and did not work, the good new is it blow the fuss, i think i need to look at the amount of power it takes and see if i first need to unplug the HUD in the car will test this week ones moer and let you know.

Guess its not too surprising the color HUD draws more current. Enough to blow the fuse is kind of eye opening though. Maybe someone with a 2014 can chime in on what amperage fuse is used for the cluster, although the 2014 cluster itself might draw more current as well with the color DIC.

You know, I'm one of those freaks who really just loves my car bare bones stock. Listen, I respect and understand the mod bug...I just don't have it, or want to have it. Changing my HUD to the color version is something I would do though...
