I had a 2016 Hyper Blue RS, at first I loved the silver wheels, but then I saw this Garnet Red with black wheels and thought OMG, this car just looks mean and pissed off. I think the reason I like the black wheels is because I follow NHRA and NASCAR and most of those cars have black wheels. Silver wheels are show cars, pretty cars, black wheels are for race cars, mean and pissed off cars.

I like black wheels on the Garnet as well. Below, a pic of Garnet with some black M017 wheels mounted.

Primered the engine covers then dipped them. Came out pretty good. Finished product below as well as the choices I had. I think I made the right choice.

The rear valance is from ikon motorsports, ordered from walmart. And the axle-back is from Borla, ordered from ssexhaust.

Ordered my borla s-type axle back. Unfortunately it is back ordered from Summit until July 8th.

Installed Borla S-Type exhaust. Lift worked PERFECT. Am using the 5000slx WITHOUT extensions. I mounted the ZL1 Add On lift blocks at the most rear location and in front straight down the door pillar (several inches aft of the "factory" location). I read this was the best and it worked amazing as you can see. I was concerned about extensions after reading so many posts, but some said the non-extension method worked fine so I carefully tried it. Flawless!!! Love the exhaust btw. Took me several weeks to decide, since stock sounds pretty good but the Borla is amazing and worth every penny IMHO.
