What is the best HID replacement?

I've been looking for the best HID bulbs replacement for a long period of time. Headlight Revolution said every bulb perform differently depends on the projector we have. I was trying to get a 50w ballest, but I have no idea how to swap the OEM 35W to 50W(Wiring). Also, the 17 camaro ss has the D3S socket and the 35w output, so I cannot get any high end LED bulb. I have the RCP 6000K HID bulb right now. The color is pretty white and blue, and it is brighter than the OEM bulb, but it is not bright enough comparing to Lexus,Prius.

The higher the Kelvin rating the more blue - but also the the light output diminishes after the sweetspot of 5000K, which is pretty much white light.
I've always used Osram Night Breakers ('Laser' is the latest replacements) - not the cheapest by a long way , but staggeringly good bulbs

I have tried 5K, 5500K, and 6K.

Out of the three, I like the 5500K best. It is the purest white with the least amount of yellow or blue.

5000K/5500K is perfect, nice bright pure white, no blue at that point.

I'm currently testing Morimoto 5,500k HIDs in my 2017 2LT. Got them here because of prime shipping but I first read about them through bigwormgraphix (pic of them on a Camaro)

Theres no yellow tint in these; instead there is a slight baby blue tint. Just be aware that brightness does decrease very slightly compared to OEM 4,300k (by nature these are the brightest but are too warm in color and gives off a slight yellow tint.) All HIDs release invisible UV light the higher you go in temperature. 4,300k emits the smallest amount of UV which makes them the brightest.

Yes, I love mine. I have the 5,500K that I bought from you guys. My only issue, is I think I messed my the wiring trying to get the damn connectors apart. I lost my driver's side eyebrow DRL. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow and hope they don't notice I changed the bulbs and just repair it.

Before this, I had the 5K Diode bulbs and the drivers side headlight bulb went out after a week, but the DRL eyebrow worked.

Swapped the bulbs to these 5,500K and had issues with getting the connector out, so I pryed a little and the metal clip that is on the connector that hides the exposed wires got bent upwards.

After I was done, the headlight worked again, but the DRL eyebrow was out.

I tried playing with the connector some and its not working.

Maybe. I have a feeling I may have accidentally severed a wire connection. Hopefully they find the issue quickly and its something minor.

Fixed. It was not the wiring, the LED just went out. They replaced the entire assembly, all is good now , EXCEPT...

They didn't do a good job of re-aligning the front bumper AND they put in the stock bulb, SO I have to take it back to them next week for them to properly align the bumper and put my 5500K bulb back in.

Yeah, I was bummed.

I am getting new tires and an a re-check of my alignment on Monday (taking the day for it too) and was going to get a nice detail and have a fresh car again, but now I am going to have to wait on the detail for them to complete the work.

I also had them put in the Royal Purple SyncroMesh tranny fluid and it shifts a lot better now.

Finally, body shop got the bumper alignment right.

Only issue now is that the left side bulb alignment is lower than the right side.

How do I adjust the alignment? I googled searched and found the location, I looked down that hole that has the spliced rubber boot and I see a hex outer bolt and a Phillips head bolt in the center.

Is the alignment done from the hex or the Philips head?
