roto-fab check engine light.

Just installed a roto-fab cai on a 2010. Check engine light is on. I followed all the instructions so I'm not sure what it could be. Any ideas of what could be causing this? Also, the rubber seal on the top causes the hood to be off level. Any suggestions welcome.

the box is not set in all the way. take the tube off and there a little stud at the bottom of the box. it lines up with a hole. i had to use a pretty good amount of force to get it in. i had the same problem (with the box) and it was an easy fix
i attached a picture. This is NOT the right way to have it installed. The box is sitting to high. The black seal of the box should be inline with the black seal that seals the hood

Edit i just noticed you have an SS you might want to check with v8 group about the cel

It is set in right. The rubber seal is even with the front weather strip. This is a mpd1 hood.

This is a v6 I'm talking about. Fuse pull fixed the cel. But the hood is still of. I think the rubber strip provided is too thick.
