guys I'm about to get 17×4.5 race star and just wondering what tire size should i get??

I went with Hoosier 27.5x4.5- 17 but I am running bias ply not radials.

You can run a bias ply front runner with a radial rear, without any problem.

It's when you run it vice versa is when people get scared because it starts to sway.

Yeah I heard and read a lot of people warn about that, I just didn't know if he was looking for size suggestions for radials on front since I only researched bias ply when I ordered my stuff...

I can tell you this much though, I wished I had just went drag radials on the back so I wouldn't have to endure installing and removing those race stars each time I go to the track since I put 28x10 Hoosier slicks on the back. Haha

How far is the track from your house? I would drive 45 miles on backroads (60 mins) on slicks. Just make sure you air them up and avoid puddles.

I'm roughly 7 miles from the track if that.


Alpha, it says on the link those tires should fit on rims 4-5" so I assume they would, not sure how they would shape or look.
