I've seen anywhere from 500 miles to 5000 miles.

I got my first oil change done at 500. I change every 4,500. Once before storage and immediately after the car is released from storage.

I'm about 3050 and haven't done it yet. Oil life says 56%. I'll most likely do it at 5K mi.

I did the first at 1500 after break in. The rest have been at 6000 mile intervals or so.

I did first oil at 2000 and changed diff fluid at 2500.

First at 500. Second after break-in at 1500. Some may consider it overkill, I consider it insurance.

I did mine around 3000 and also did the diff fluid at the same time.

Did my first oil at 1200 and rear diff at 1500. Both looked great.

I figure it's cheap insurance. I waited until 4500 with my Colorado - even then the oil monitor was around 50%

500, 1500, 2600, 5000 and 8000. Now at almost 12.000 miles and will change it before putting it in storage for the winter.
