I can't stand the feel of the material. IMO a nice smooth leather feels more premium in the hands. Alcantara has its place on the track and with gloves, but not on the street.
I’ve never really liked it either (touch or look). I never understood why so many think it looks “upscale” etc. To each there own taste wise.

I will say like the alcantara steering wheels when I have driving gloves on for tracking. DD though and no gloves I’m not a fan. It feels slippery to me compared to leather steering wheels.

If you like it then that's because you wanted it. Personally, there's too much carbon fiber on it and too shiny.
I dont! I find the one made by wildhammer much better looking

I also very much dislike alcantara. I think it looks and feels like mouse fur.

I got the Wildhammer wheel in leather, as well as I changed the shifter, shift boot, knee pads, and door cards for leather.

Each to their own I guess. I absolutely love the alcantera wheel and shift knob. If they wear out or become nasty to the point of me not being able to clean it, I'll be replacing with OEM again.

I think both offerings of these wheels are absolutely discusting. The tech that is included is obsolete due to the HUD.

Nice! I wish that wheel was full leather, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
