Swapped the stock 80mm pulley from Magnuson, to a 77mm Griptec with real Titanium hardware. These pulleys are like fine Jewelry.

Damn... that is a sweet pulley. I'm really considering that exhaust too. ARH headers for sure.

Get the 2" American Racing Headers, they fit well. Also, I like the ball flange better than the slip fit. The system makes power and has a real nice Muscle car tone .

When did they start going with ball flange? I know ARH has the best fit on the LT4 but was thinking 1-7/8 for a little extra room.

The "NicKey" edition header by ARH has a ball flange and I believe they have made it available on their product line.

The 77mm Griptec is good for an additional 2lbs of boost over the supplied 80mm,for reference and with this pulley we attained 655hp and 651tq. So 100rwhp and 92tq over completely stock baseline. IATs were substantially lower than stock, even on back to back runs.
Matt Peckham/Calibrator is not finished with the 93 tune quite yet. Last edited by Stefano; 08-21-2018 at 11:58 AM. |

It’s been completed. Just back from some time off. Been driving the car and enjoying it. Will post some track times once I get them.

Drove the ZL1 for the Muscle Car Adventures event in Wisconsin, over 1200 miles. Check out this event at www.musclecaradvetures.com. The car performed flawlessly. The only issue we had was a flat tire.
Dyno results to date on 93 octane gasoline are 706hp and 700tq so 152hp and 141tq over stock. The video is not great, but here is the ZL1 making some hot laps at the Dells Raceawy Park. Next we will install a DSX Flex fuel sensor and add some ethanol. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dq_iQpE3GuE http://youtu.be/dq_iQpE3GuE http://youtu.be/dq_iQpE3GuE Last edited by Stefano; 01-02-2019 at 01:06 PM. |
