I’d really only consider doing it if the plan was a 295/315 combo. I really don’t know what the threshold is on this car, but with all the elaborate systems we have that use wheel speed inputs (E-diff, PTM, launch control), I’d want to keep the front to rear height ratio as close to stock as possible.
Agreed. The 285 4S matches everything perfectly save for the width which is design related. Actual is the same. I'm sure the 295 would work fine but I'd order the 285 just for simplicities sake.

Couldn’t be happier for a do it all/year round tire. I’ll never drive mine in snow on purpose, but I could get caught in TN. I mainly got them so I could still drive the car through the winter during those 10-30 degree days, and if I get caught in the rain. Also I’m not worried about burning up sticky tires the entire time I’m driving. I’ve still seen over 1G of cornering on my local twisties in 25 degree weather.

How many miles are you getting on your original tires and those of you who have used PS4S how many miles can one expect. Let’s assume no track but aggressive Daily driving. Thx.

I got 10k on my stock tires, no track time. not sure about the PS4s as i have only had them on the car a week. I am hoping 20-25k range.

Fair conclusion and observation. I was planning on going with 295/325 or 295/315 but after reviewing all the specs for both combos elected not to.

I guess the famous statement “keep it simple stupid’ is the best approach and would apply here. So it looks like 285/305 combo wins after all. I know I will be happy as many of you have stated BUT it sure would of been nice to have just a little more girth/width in the rear.

Not sure on the stock tires, got rid of them the first week, due to rain and water on road. I got close to 13k on the PS4S, and they are an awesome tire. I bet the stock tires are awesome as well, but not in an area that gets a lot of rain and standing water.

ADD: PS4S for non-winter weather, and Wintersotto3 for winter. Still working on getting another set of rims, so I can easily swap the two. PS4S are like hockey pucks in 40 degrees and below.
