Angled bricks were intended to help airflow to back cylinders. (The updated housing and lid had nothing to do with the "track overheating" issues of the Z06 (that is an engine radiator airflow problem), it simply improved an airflow distribution issue to the two rearmost cylinders on the LT4) - Mike and my conversation a couple years ago at my shop The supercharger casting is slightly different as the bolt pattern of the intercoolers is slightly different from 2015,2016 to 2017-2019 . Also to clarify some other questions that have been asked: These are answers to questions I get every week via phone and email, The answers are "correct". We have concrete proof with actual experience with each and every one. The 2017-2019 LT4 supercharger from a Vette will not fit "properly"under the hood of a corvette when using the 1/2" thick adapter plates. The 2015-2016 LT4 Vette supercharger will fit under the hood with 1/2" thick adapter plates. The 2017-2019 Zl1 and 2015-2018 CtSV superchargers will not work on the corvettes LT1"properly" as the belt offset is set to far forward. The 2015-2019 LT4 Vette Supercharger will fit a 2016-2019 Camaro LT1"Properly" when installed with our Pulley Mod https://lsa-conversion-store.myshopi...-for-camaro-ss This gives the correct offset to match that of the ZL1 and CTSV Lt4 Supercharger thus allowing you to use ZL1 8 rib supercharger drive system.1/2" adapter plates are still required. The 2017-2019 ZL1 Supercharger will fit 2016-2019 Camaro LT1 with 1/2" adapter plates The 2015-2018 CTSV Supercharger will fit 2016-2019 Camaro LT1 with 1/2" adapter plates. Sorry for the rant,I felt like it needed posted Also forgot to mention 2014-2020 trucks - We have LT4 Truck /SUV kits now available as a direct bolt on. 500-800+hp 2015-2016 LT4 Vette superchargers are the only ones that fit with out extensive modifications due to lid to firewall clearance. The Vette guys are taking the newer ZL1 blower and making changes to run them on the Corvettes. I will have more information in a couple weeks when I get into the shop and see what they are doing. I am interested in exploring this comment “The 2017-2019 Zl1 and 2015-2018 CtSV superchargers will not work on the corvettes LT1"properly" as the belt offset is set to far forward.“

Nice post Andy.
Sorry, I should have included a ? (fix Z06 overheating?) I did incorrectly imply the intercooler cores will directly interchange, without modifications. I did overlook the primary intent for Camaro SC to be used on a Corvette, it will not work. |

As for lining up correctly, it seems that to get the alignment the easiest way is to simply get the ATI pulley with the hub so that everything lines up perfectly. You could also create a spacer if you wanted to go that way. I will take pictures in a couple weeks when we start working on it. But to be clear: 1. The Camaro to Corvette SC works fine... 2. The internal base of the SC's are exactly the same. The bricks have the bracket attached so it's really the bricks that are different. BTW - As for boost, in my setup, we are not going to change the upper pulley to increase boost. I am going to start with the lower pulley on stock size with the ATI pulley; however, if I want to up the boost from 8psi, I will simply swap the lower pulley to 10, 12, or 15% overdrive pulley. using the ATI pulley makes that the easiest way to swap pulley's on the LT4 blower. I am expecting that the stock setup will run about 550-580whp. Going to the 15% overdrive pulley will get into the 720-750whp range. Just playing and learning as I go. . .

Correct, I just do not want my general statements to mislead anyone reading your thread.

This is really only important for our ZL1 owners that plan on taking off/selling their stock blower in favor of something more powerful. For that reason, it would be good to know how these things play out. . .as ADM outlined.

Doing more research and looking at options I see what ADM was saying related to the Camaro blower.
I don’t know the numbers for certain, but the snout on the Camaro blower is different than the snout on the Corvette blower. The difference is the belt line. To fix the alignment issue, you can either swap the snout or use a custom pulley that places the pulley back on the Z06 belt line. The first option is problematic because GM doesn’t sell the snout separately even though it’s just a bolt on item. With the second option, the ridges on the underside of the snout are probably too big. That means modifying the snout to allow the custom pulley to work. Best option...don’t sell the ZL1 blower to a Vette owner. Won’t work without fabrication. Just like ADM said!
