Spring Pollen

Ugh! The spring pollen has already started here in Eastern NC. It started all of a sudden less than a week ago. Maybe it's because we had the third warmest February here on record. Regardless, l hate the next 4 to 6 weeks. Everything turns yellow, even in the garage. And the pine pollen is the worst.

No pollen worries here. Blizzard and 14” of snow earlier this week and another 8” coming tomorrow with 45 mph wind. We won’t have pollen until May.

I didn't expect it to start this early either. Looks like February did us in.

No pollen here in the desert, just dust. This winter its been colder and wetter than normal, there releasing water from the reservoirs to make room for the snow melt, record snow fall Flagstaff and North.

Amazing. Too bad they can't send the excess it to lake Powell / glen canyon area as last I heard they were in danger of being so low they soon will not be able to generate electricity.

Same here as well, I just spent the last 3 hours hosing off the pool deck and windows. Our daily drivers sit outside and are supposed to be white but are more like a greenish yellow now. It’s a waste of time to wash them, the next day they are covered again. Even the cars in the garage have it from just opening the garage doors. We have a lot of Pine Trees in the area, have you ever seen them release pollen? It’s crazy.

Where i work there are a 1000 oak tree's and it never rains much here anymore and even if you washed the car it would be bad in a hour. So i skip washing for around 6 weeks. Also them small waxy spots on the car as well.

That would be nice, the supply and the demand , are so out balanced , for many reasons, over populating the desert, is most likely the main , foreign owned farms , with all the product going abroad just to name a couple. Supposedly Arizona is changing the Development permit criteria. The mega Development Companies (before permits are issued ) half to supply water , other than counting on the Colorado river and tapping into the aquifers. One solution I read was to pipe line water from the Golf of Mexico from Desolifacation process. Keeping it simple. Hope that all works . Nevada and California have to come up with plans as well. Especially to accommodate the demand of electricity to support EV.
