The dampening is different and hardly noticeable. There is no noise. I’ve had many car enthusiasts out for a ride and ask if they notice the mounts. The answer is no.

If heard of guys that added extra heat shielding in some areas.. anyone have any insight or suggestions. I have a week to purchase anything else that will compliment the header install…

I used heat tape and also wrap on some of the hoses. Also don't forget to relocate the wiring harness on the passenger side. I did a little write up when I installed my headers.

Just a suggestion some guys don't have an issue but I did. I swapped out my plug wires for MSD and they melted. I ordered Granatelli wires with heat shield and I love them.

For the money you would think ARH would revise the passenger header. I’m fine pulling the motor mount to install, but they are really tight on the frame rail and brake lines once installed. The Kooks seem to have better clearance and install without motor mount removal, but I hate the way they started doing the thin pressed in 02 bungs.

What type of coating did you go with? I have a couple of local companies that do high temp ceramic coating that they use in road course applications that seem attractive to me. Also around $250.
