OP i have to say just my 2 cents. I owned a 05 z51 ( package ) that means shorter gear ratio and some handling stuff. The 05-07 had the ls2 motors 08 and up have ls3 motors. Even with full exhaust. intake, tune your not touching a bone stock 09 vette. Off the line the camaro cannot play with a vette it just to heavy. im not a motor wizard but i would say you need a camm also to hang with a vette. but i will say this just like the l99 vs ls3 camaros the ls2 vs ls3 vette is a driver race the win can go to who can rock a stick better. You miss that 2-3 shift on a vette and your done.

I just race my friends 2012 c6 auto. And I took him by a car and a half. I ran a 13.4 and he ran 13.58 both trapped 108. I do have full bolts ons on my ls3.

I beat a stock 2013 C6 GS with my bolton 1LE.

But I had to red-light to do it. So there you go. Go full bolton with your Camaro and leave on the first yellow and hope the C6 driver is asleep.

As stated here and in my opinion, a full bolt-on Camaro may beat the driver of a stock C6 vette but the car itself would be faster and quicker. The 80-90 whp at WOT just isn't enough to overcome the weight and suspension advantage.

Absolutely love my car but that is just the reality of things. Cam or FI then go smoke a vette.
