Does anyone remember their first WOT experience?

Today I got to drive a Ferrari 458 Italia. An amazing experience. Hauling a** around I thought of this question about my car. I remember the first time I ever sat in a Camaro, my salesman (great friend now) told me to turn traction control off and let it rip. I was 15. It was the best experience I've ever had. Getting sideways from a start in a car I was soon to buy was amazing. 0-120 in a second it felt like. Every time I run my car, it still brings a grin from ear to ear on my face. Driving the Ferrari, Much better than a Gallardo I must say, still doesn't compare to American Muscle. That loud roar I hear from the pipes is a dream come true. 'Murica. Any of ya'll remember yours?

I loved my sales man. He was laughing as I was having the time of my life, then he took me on a 143 mph ride down the interstate. One of the best days of my life.

I had a C6 prior to my Camaro and was out one day on a rarely used road from a roll I went WOT.After some sliding back and forth the tires hooked up and holy s**t I was off like a bullet.

The Camaro being a little heavier with the nannies off is just as much fun at WOT from a roll.

I wish i had a road around where i live like that. None. but if i had slid around like that on a road and not in a parking lot. Phew, I'd be cleaning seats.

Thumbs up

Yup, I was in kindergarten and my dad hit 80mph in a black '46 flathead Ford coup.

On my 21st birthday I bought a '69 Hemi roadrunner, awesome WOT sound when dual quads on a big block are flowing max.

I hope you're enjoying that car, better still have it! One good looking car all cleaned up.

1965 in brother's '64 GTO. Backed out of it at 130+. And no...it wasn't on a track! Would have kept foot planted if it hadn't been for the cow in the middle of the road that I passed before I realized she was there! Last time I've been over 130 except in an airplane!

...older kid in the neighborhood took some of us younger kids for a drive in his family's new '62 or '63 Dodge Polara....He punched it, burned rubber for about a hundred feet or so...We were pegged in the back seat like we took off in a rocket-ship...

....loved Mopars and the drags ever since....

First WOT in my Camaro was from a stop when my buddy in his truck tried to get the jump on me (drove past me going about 35) and I remember gunning it and catching up then passing him within 60 feet. I could not stop smiling and laughing hysterically, I was kinda in disbeleif with what the car could do. One of my more influential experiences when I was younger was in my brothers 05 Mustang Gt when he pegged it from a dig and lit the tires for a good 75 feet and then once he hooked he hit the spray. That is what convinced me that American V8's were the way to go and then my room mate's 02 Trans Am convinced me that LS motors were the way to get there.
