DSS popping - normal?
I've had my DSS CF 1pc driveshaft and 1,400hp axles on for several thousand miles. Been to the strip a few times with them. Lately, I've noticed a quaint popping noise when starting out from a stop, or if I take off slowly then load it up, something makes a popping/pop noise (only once per starting off). [like something is binding then letting go].
I crawled under the car and checked for anything loose - didn't find anything. Is this something normal for the DSS CV's on the axles or driveshaft? I've been told they're going to be noisier but is this normal for these?

popping no, noisier yes. I would check the CV joint at the trans, and both axles

Bolts did not appear loose but I will check the torque on them. As for axle movement side-to-side - what is normal?

My driveshaft made a noise. There were 3 slightly loose bolts at the flange on the diff side. They allowed for just enough movement to make noise. Tightened them up and no noise.
