Yup, this is the standard model wind down process at gm.

Don't be surprised if 2023 is the final year. They could keep it going longer if there are enough preliminary orders or if enough people tell GM they want one. I think 2024 would be the stretch for final production year.

I think between recession/constrained parts/ the push to go ev/and lack of significant demand it's a given.

I'm surprised the Camaro has survived this long as it is. The low sales numbers from several previous years could have justified its being cancelled long ago. Four different ICE power plants to choose from, all the different trim levels that are still available is amazing. The 6th Gen Camaro has been on the chopping block long before any expectation of a new EV Camaro.

It's unfortunate that production is hampered for various reasons, but I have to give GM credit keeping the ICE Camaro around for this long. Think of the virtue signaling kudos awaiting GM once this obscene brutal planet-killing Camaro is dead and buried. When it eventually ends, it will be no surprise and long overdue. Get one now, they will never come back to anything close to this again. Peace.

Really thankful I was able to get mine when I did. I almost bought one back in 2018 and didn't, and feel lucky that I finally was able to get one before they disappear for good.

I ordered a 23 last winter, but seeing all the issues people were having with getting their cars built, combined with dealers not getting allocations i bought one out of dealer stock this spring. Pretty close to the car i ordered, the dealer Dublin Chevy in Nor Cal was great to deal with. Not only did they let me out of my order they gave me a fantastic price with 0% financing and delivered it down state for free. I didn't want to be the kid without a chair when the music stopped

It looks like Dodge is ending production in Dec. 2023 and offering a custom drop down conversion option.

The conversion is $25,999 on top of the car price. OUCH!

Exactly.

The ambient door inserts from the 3LT/2SS/ZL1 was an LPO item that was discontinued this way I think after the 2021 Model Year but they are still available for purchase from Chevy Accessories and can be purchased from the accessories website with dealer installed as an option.
