Nick Williams 103 mm tb
Question
My current mods are kooks headers, linginfelter overdrive pulley, rotofab, and tune, I picked up a nick williams 103 mm tb for pretty cheap. Can I put it on without re tuning the car or will it tricker a code and go to limp mode.

It’ll trigger at least a CEL and be rough, maybe undriveable. It will need a tune as the MAF sensor will see more air than expected for position and will freak out.

I don't think it will even bolt up to stock supercharger and seal correctly. You'd need a larger snout like a Whipple or Kong ported blower/snout.

To my understanding it will bolt up to the stock snout but without porting the snout for the 103mm tb it will have a huge lip because the factory opening at the snout is only like 90mm. The 103 throttle blade may not even be able to open all the way without the proting. I wouldn't even try to bolt it up without at least porting the Supercharger snout, and getting a retune afterwards. Just keep in mind that after you port for the 103mm TB it does away with the factory O-ring gasket on the snout so you will have to silicone the TB on the snout to seal it.
