P0446 CEL - EVAP System
I've replaced the vapor canister vent solenoid after this code popped up. Reset the ecu, CEL went away. CEL / Code came back after 80 miles ~ 48 hrs.
Has anyone had success combating this code? I didnt see much success in the old threads. I heard the gas tank filling inlet seal can be an issue? Mine doesnt screw on its just a flap. https://www.samarins.com/diagnose/p0446.html I suppose the first thing which might help is to figure out when it is setting the code. Is it during the pressurization (leak) test or during a purge cycle? Any right rear wheel well area damage that might have affected charcoal canister or vent line? ctrlz Thank you!
Evap pressure sensor needed to be replaced. Under the rear passenger wheel, T'd off to the pressure line. |
