Signed it a few days ago through another link in the Corvette Forum. If this Bill passes they will be knocking on your door next. Best thing Tuners can do is to start dumping data and shredding paperwork like Enron to save the customer the hassle of “The Man” beating on their door.

This has been going for a bunch of years and kinda started off in the diesel truck world with Bully Dog and some other diesel tuners. Customers were getting rid of the Def, converters, etc. Guys were posting their truck blowing black smoke and bragging about what they had done. I think long tube headers are probably on the hit list. Shorty's will probably be allowed since they hook up to the stock exhaust with cats. It is gonna be interesting to follow. Many of these shops will get visits from the EPA in the near future. Hold on to your dreams cause they may become nightmares.

It's all BS...it's been tested and proven that a Long tube headers car with no cats running E85 passes the Nox test. So why did E85 never replace pump gas? Why are they pushing electric when making the Batteries are more toxic to produce by far opposed to running clean burning fuels such as E? Hidden agendas and pocket lining is why.

I signed, got a letter back from my congressman stating he was against what the EPA was doing and for RaceCars, the Senators on the other hand just thanked me for contacting them and that was that.

I'm not agreeing with what they are doing I'm just saying what I found out when I was with Magnuson and how I was told this came about. I run long tubes and not cats. Just sayin.

My senator seems to actually have looked into it, or at least I wasn't one of the first to bring this up, because he claims this was a previous bill that has not (yet) been reintroduced after the elections.

We'll see, I don't expect a NJ senator to want to do that regardless of how many sign the petition, but in case it does get brought before the House and the Senate again, I'm glad I joined and I stand behind it.

A number of months ago I recall watching a documentary on the topic of batteries and EV. One of the highlights was mining nodules from the Pacific. The host commented that there are also concerns about acquiring raw materials for battery production. Another ironic twist was the fact that so many other counties had established their “ownership” of ocean property for performing the harvest. IIRC, the US wasn’t on the list.

Heading out Saturday morning for 1st TNT at Gateway outside St. Louis. Then the 10th of April for the NMCA/NMRA back at Gateway. Won my class last year and hoping to repeat again. 1K was a nice little cash in for the weekend. We are doing pretty good if we could get rid of this shitty midwest weather. Ready for some real spring time this year. Hope your doing well also. Bought a new Aluma trailer to haul the slow C7 to the track.
