Congrats!
If you want the Eye Brow DRLs you have to get the kit from Gen5DIY. (Google it).

If you want to change the ugly Halogens to HIDs follow this post, https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...ht=HID+upgrade

Oh and here too.

Did you mean upgrading to the RS/SS headlights or the ambient (spectrum) interior lighting?

If the former, and I guess this is probably the case, then you have a few options: you can follow ItsChristianInHD's advice and swap HID bulbs with ballasts into your existing light housing (cheap), you can add LED bulbs that typically only require and include some cooling solution (cheapest with drawbacks), or you can go all the way and buy an RS conversion harness, say, from the link in the previous post or directly from Gen5DIY, as well as the RS/SS headlight assemblies (ultra expensive unless you find a usable pair on ebay or craigslist, but this is the real deal).

If the latter, then I think GM has a few interior lighting packages that you can install yourself, the one named "red day" has part no. 84093278. These are also expensive upgrades.

I wouldn’t suggest OP to put HID nor LEDs into halogen reflectors headlight. It’ll just blind everyone on the road. Do a proper HID projectors retrofit or convert to the RS headlight.

+1 I also heard that adding the spectrum lighting is a pain in the ass.

I agree the RS lights look better with the brows although, they are so expensive to get done. I don’t get flashed very often (1 time) when I’m driving my RS, these cars are really low to the ground so the chances of blinding people is slim for me anyways. I do want to change the color to a pure white 5,000k or bluish white color (8,000k).

Technically you are correct, although there are big differences between these replacement/upgrade bulbs, they aren't all equally bad, one can also play with the adjustment, plus the car is sitting very low.

I'm just trying to help the OP, as the RS lighting update is prohibitively expensive (see https://www.gen5diy.com/collections/...-ss-headlights) unless someone gets super lucky on ebay or waits for a parted car, and OP said cost was a problem to start with, which is why he didn't get the RS package in the first place.

With new cars this is true. It’s best to get them the way you want from the factory because adding stuff is a pain in the ass.

The spectrum upgrade is not easy to do, for what I have heard. Once you do it I believe you have to have the dealership flash the computer in the car to have the option show up on MyLink.

Never really checked for that, and ummm I’m not sure I haven’t done it. There’s a fellow that made the upgrade on here let me see if I can find the post.
