Rotofab big gulp help

So I recieved the wrong big gulp meant for an ss with lt4 supercharger. They won't ship replacement parts to California. So thinking of shaving the top down because the hoood is sticking up a good 3/16" right over the airbox. Can anyone provide a picture of the top without the seal on it? Just so I have a rough idea of what it's supposed to look like, as I can kind of see where its hitting already.
Thanks for any help guys!

I can try to get picks when I get home tonight, but if you go to LMP on Youtube, they've got a bunch of videos where you can see the BG box without the seal.

A company sent you the incorrect part for your car and now they will not allow you to return it so they can correct their mistake?

I live in CA, so its not so simple. Let's just say their were some work arounds to get some of my parts. Go figure you can buy ounces of weed here legally now, but a cold air intake is forbidden haha

When are you installing that thing? Cool videos by the way. I'm not too far from you myself.

WOW - those are big differences. I do hope it works out for you. That really stinks how you got the wrong stuff.

I read the Big Gulp requires a tune to take advantage of all the air.
True or False?

True, rotofab states that a tune is needed.

Thanks, we'll see i might just try to get the entire setup for the zl1 and sell this one. Probably better bet then hacking up this one because I don't know if it'll seal right

To be honest, I doubt the "seal" makes much difference at all, but I would want it to fit well enough under the hood as to not make contact.

Sure it will. If it doesn’t seal and the hoods closed you’ll be sucking in hot ass air into the intake, defeating the entire purpose completely.

His is not even designed for the zl1 hood so hacking it up correctly is going to take some skill and the proper template.

It won’t and it needs a tune the MAF will be completely off.

It's been tuned the way it is now and has been running fine, its just the hood doesn't sit right. Once I get the correct airbox, I'll send the tuner a log and see if it needs to be changed. I have free tune revisions for life so not a big deal.
