Ive had mine out when I changed my trim panel on the dash, but did not check it.

You are correct X2 on P17 is the connection from the HMI X3 (2nd USB) is the connection to the PDR, I am printing a ton of PDF's that I will post shortly maybe it will help some, some will be duplicate postings from prior messages but I think the additional data might be helpful stand by as a gather all the postings.

So I just got my camera bracket and cover in today while the camera fits in the bracket great and the cover works, the vert has like the 3rd sun shade on the windshield behind the mirror like little dots in the glass, this seems to interfere with the location of the camera and thus might need to adjust the placement or a custom mount to not be in the way of the dots.

@nighttowl does your dash have the mounting point for the antenna or will you have to modify the dash in some fashion to get the antenna to mount?

I did not pull the dash pad off yet. I was going to wait until monday when the cable comes in that way I dont have to remove it again. if it doesnt have it I will put it in a similar spot under the pad and use double sided tape to hold it on.

can you remove some of the dots with a razor blade?

can you remove some of the dots with a razor blade?

Unfortunately the dots are between the layers of glass / laminate as the windshield is smooth on both sides of the glass.

That sucks. You either have to swap out the windshield or move the camera somewhere where it clears.

Im making some camera mounting lugs on my 3d printer to test them out. If they test out good ill have some made on monday when Im at work.
Based on the measurements I took the center lug is different than the 2 outer lugs.

Nice quality, great work they look factory, I wonder if the windshield for the Camaro with the PDR already has the lugs on the glass. However if you decide that you want to sell a set or two let me know I would be happy to buy them.
