P0700 & P0741

Hey guys, i have some issues going on with my trans (A-10) and my converter (Circle D 3600 Stall)
Yesterday when cruising through a school zone my gear indicator light started flashing and when i would give it throttle and it wouldn’t do anything. it would act as if it was in neutral. It did this about 3-4 times within the same mile or so.

Now it has happened before, many times, but it’s usually spread out. usually when pulling into a neighborhood or cruising below 35. But it has never done it that many times in that amount of time.

Mods are Circle D 3600
D1X Procharger
BTR Stage 3 S/C Cam
among other mods that i would think are irrelevant in this situation.

The P0700 is generic.
P0741 relates to the torque converter clutch solenoid. it is not disengaging properly and the car is seeing a mismatch of >200 rpm between the torque converter rotation speed and the transmission input shaft.

Check wiring. Was clutch solenoid replaced/rebuilt as part of your mods?
From what I can see the higher stall speed on the new TC should not be the cause of this.

Might start with a call to circle D:

To the best of my knowledge the solenoid wasn't modified or replaced. If it was, i was not informed by the mechanic that put together my build. I'll definitely be getting in contact with circle d and the shop that put my car together. Thank you

I’m having the same issue, what did you do to fix it? I’ve already replaced valve body and filled trans to correct level.

Not sure if this will help, but has some detail on the sensors involved. Some kind of Russian repair blog? Get that Lada to the track!

Might have to set that code to "do not report" in the tune. The TCM can be finicky with higher stall converters due to the increased slip.
