Headers Question

Hey guess quick question, I have a 2011 SS L99. About a year ago I purchased a pair of NPP mufflers to add to my car and I'll be buying my headers with in the next 2-3 months if everything goes right. I'm in between Texas Speed and American Racing Headers. My question inst which are better but what will hook up to the NPP mufflers better. I know I need the mid-pipe and I think thats it.

I think it’s the same for both. You have to cut your tail pipes per instructions

Texas Speed and ARH are designed to bolt up to the factory exhaust and do so without issue. More people report some "massaging" of the header itself to have proper clearance in the engine bay, but both work. I hope that helps with your question.

I got the same system (ARH) and will be installed in 2 weeks. There is nothing from my original system that i'll be keeping.. I had my headers sent to jet-hot to have them ceramic coated in polished chrome.

I have TSP 2" long tube headers and have to dimple the passenger side because it rubs on the front cradle

They both hook up fine. TSP is more value where ARH is top of the line. I would also consider Kooks! No matter what you buy, feel free to call us @ 610-628-1563 for a nice Camaro5 Member discount!

Another vote for Kooks. Every set I have ever used have fit like a glove.
