You have to Pay to Play and in the dictionary “PAY” comes first. I should have invested in a dictionary!
I would start with a plan having an end game in mind. The biggest problem is most don’t stick to their plans.

Thanks guys you all are very helpful, it seems like I will start with the CAU and tune. Probably save up a little then go for the headers.

I’ve been hearing good things about Kooks headers for years... eventually I those will be what I end up with.

Can you recommend a good CAI?

Do a search, but CAI ended up with the better numbers on a test IIRC

You're in Florida. I'd go to redline or tampa tuning for a tune. Whichever is closer but they are both good.

CAI (rotofab, cold air inductions), then headers (speed engineering on a budget) and then I would recommend a Dynosteve SCT tune. That should put you around a grand

I just purchased a CAI intake and a SCT handheld time with lifetime tunes from dynosteve for around $750-$800. The CAI was tested to jannetty racing with the best HP gains.
