SC to Head bolts
Hi fellas,
On one of the recent CC threads, someone posted a link for the purchase of 10 bolts that hold the SC to the heads. The ad mentions the bolts are made of stainless steel t-304, is this spec or at least suitable to use? https://www.ebay.com/itm/153471322011 Thanks, Chris |

If you are asking if 304 is strong enough to hold a CC, sure. Yield is not as good as 303 but 304 has better corrosion resistance. To hold that component you won’t have issues at all.
Are you selecting that hardware for corrosion resistance?

I had just ordered that bolt package from gm parts direct and they canceled my order. The gasket package with the bolts is on back order
