Newbie questions

Ok so I'm searching for a track around north alabama if anyone knows any! Also how much would track insurance be on average? Also I has just an ls camaro with Ingen CAI and about to order, and will have on my car, a set of zl1 wheels and 275/40/20 tires on the back because I'm getting replicas and have 20x10 I'm the back. With that said I know that as a first time track driver I'm not going to be putting down crazy times or going as fast as I possibly could and driving like a pro or a bat out of hell. But what are good things to know going in? What is the appropriate mindset to keep myself and my car safe while still having fun and putting down respectable times?

Someone else can chime in in track locations. I'd recommend reading the sticky above called Drag Racing for newbs. Lots of detailed info on everything you need to know.
In addition, you need to find a back road with little traffic and get used to launching your car. Trying not to spin.
