I don't think Matt returning to Roush Racing is going to be their salvation. To me it has to be in the way Roush is setting up the chassis. All Ford engines comes from Roush/Yates. Penske and the Wood Brothers are competitive every week.

Trick and Spike — NASCAR sold out their loyal fans to their corporate sponsors. When the corporations went away with the economy, the loyal fans did not come back. To busy washing off the poo that had landed on them.

A car race by definition is: a race from point A to Point B. The driver that gets there first is the winner. What the hell do you call what they are doing now ?? It is not a car race.

Exactley--just go back. You get points for coming in first and so on down the line to the last car that finishes last. Your points build thru the season and the one with the most points is the [Champion] at the end of the year.

we will be doing some chores at the cottage , with winter hanging on this year things are a little behind ,,
my wife likes to plant some beans , lettuce and a couple tomato plants . I had the road in graded and dropped a couple loads of A gravel on it .. I will put the blade on the tractor and grade our driveway ..My wife is working on sealing our new picnic table , she is using a clear sealer as she wants to see the wood .. I will fertilize the lawn and bring the furniture and lawn tractor out of the shed .. These are just little chores but we look it as not work , as we enjoy our time at the cottage .. ..
today was cloudy with sprinkles of rain once in awhile but we spent most of the day outside .. sun , mon should be better weather , I missed todays indy trials .. have to catch up online .....

I'm going to jump in here, I figure I qualify. We bought the car for my wife in February. My first GM product, although my dad was always a die-hard Buick man so it probably rubbed off. I have always been a Mazda enthusiast but you can't argue with a nice big American V8!



I have modified pretty much every car I have owned, but this one isn't going to get much. Already have smoked sidemarkers with a set of used smoked tail lights/third brake light inbound. Also have a NoviStretch bra which came in handy for a recent long trip and a set of ZL1 Addons deluxe rock guards (when did they stop being mud flaps?). The wife wants black wheels, budget is tight at present so I will be PlastiDipping the stockers for now. While I would love putting a supercharger on, everything is more expensive than I am used to so I will have to limit my modifications to my Miata and RX-7. Miata is supercharged so I get the nice whine from it.
