If the closest tuner is 4 hours away you should consider a remote tuning solution, then you are part of the process.

Ted.
so your saying if you buy your own MPVI2 and have someone else tune it you need to buy twice as many credits? Why? Does it have something to do with 2 different computers? Its the same MPVI2 that will be hooked up to the car.

I should have bought a ZL1

That has changed with the MPVI2 so no you only buy credits for the first time you flash your computer then you have lifetime access to your computer.

16 models took 2 credits for both ecm and tcm and 1 credit for the FPCM

17s require 4 ECM 4 TCM a TCM unlock service, and 1 for FPCM.

If the tuner is using your MPVI or MPVI2 that you have used to license the ECM/TCM/FPCM then you wont need anymore additional credits. It is only if the tuner isnt willing to use your MPVI/MPVI2 that it will cost you for the credits again.

Correct, I can edit your files without any license credits with my software.

It is only the person flashing the car that need to license it.

The FSCM also has tables in it that control the NPP valve positions, but honestly I didn't notice much difference trying to tweak them. It seems they are either basically on or off (quiet or loud) once you hit a certain percentage.
