Sorry for the multiple posts, but I spoke to GM Customer assist, who advised me to open a TAC case with the dealer.

Anyone else with the issue should do the same, otherwise it will be ignored as normal operations.

I noticed mine 24 hours after having the car. Drivers side. After taking the car to service, the adviser stated this was normal and no air leak was detected. He even reassured to tell me they water tested the window to ensure this was not the case. The final diagnosis, "Wind tunnel noise".

What other noises did/do you have? I still have a clicking sound at about 65mph and up coming from the back seat passenger area.

That "sounds" like the AFM exhaust valves on the SS. Does the LT V6 have the AFM valves on the exhaust?

I have that on my driver's side, but I have a convertible and it's only 2 weeks old. Can be heard after hitting over 60mph. Not a big deal but I'm gonna find some time to bring it in.

Also have wind noise on the passenger side. They are taking the door apart for that side speaker rattle so I will have them look at this one as well, along with the headliner rattle.

Try this

Not sure if it will work in every situation, but it may save a trip to the dealer. Silicon spray keeps the weatherstripping soft and well lubricated. Keeps it from drying out, and may allow it to seal better. Bought it on Amazon.

My wind noise was resolved by my dealer, said it was coming from the little triangle area up front.

What little area up front? do you mind uploading a pic? how did they know it wasn't your mirror? like most of the other post suggest.

Interesting. I need to check that out. Do you know exactly what they did to fix it? I get the wind noise on the drivers side and I assumed it was the "wind tunnel" effect from either the mirror or the edge of the door or something.

Just picked up my convertible Fifty SS yesterday. Have a couple of noises.

- Have wind noise that sounds like it's coming between the seal of the two windows ont he driver side.
- Have an intermittent chirp/rattle (hard to tell which but is high pitched) from the passenger side.

Anyone have these? I hate taking my car to the dealer. They keep it forever, put many miles on it "testing" it, and ultimately break more than they fix routinely.

The little triangle is where my noise was coming from. You can test it by blocking the cracks around the plastic triangle with some electrical tape.
