Yup - passenger side confirmed bad, new strut on order. No joke about extended warranty, these retail for $2000+ each.

My car just started making the clunk/popping noise as well. 3400 miles. Getting ready to run it up on ramps and check the links. Thankful for finding this thread!

Classic Chevy in Sugar Land charged me $150 to install 4 Nord-Lock washers that I supplied. They said they would install it under warranty when I dropped it off but changed their mind when I picked it up. Be aware of Classic Chevy Sugar Land.

Update: clunk is back. They didn't install the washers on the end links. They installed them somewhere in the steering rack. Next car will be Japanese.

Just order the BMR links and your problems will be solved for good

I'm thinking 3 year old Nissan GTR or Acura NSX.

18mm crows foot slips off when trying to torque down end link bottom nut. Can't even get it on the top nut due to the channel it's in. Going to buy a pass through socket set and torque it down by guesstimation. The wheel well does not do me any favors trying to fit a wrench in there either.

Had same issue with 2017 V6 1LT after second track day

I had this same issue after my second track day and probably 5000 -/+ miles, it was a loose bolt on the swaybar or something it didn’t hinder driving but would clunk pretty loud when turning, took it to dealer and they torqued to spec haven’t had issue since also haven’t tracked it since.

Passthrough wrench did the trick. Lowes and Home Depot didn't have them. Got a Pittsburgh set from Harbor Freight. Passenger side top was the culprit. Visible motion when endlink pushed up and down. Hopefully the Nordlocks and blue loctite will hold up to track days. Nice to not hear clunk over the parking garage speed bumps at work!

Can you post a link to the tool? I'm not familiar with a passthrough wrench. Thanks.
