Best upcoming summer tire?

It's about time to replace the tires that came with my car, 15 1LE so I believe it came with the eagle f1's, currently at 7600 miles so they didn't last long. What's the best thing to replace them with? Is anyone coming out with anything good in the near future? Or what would you guys recommend? I don't drive this car in the winter or even rain for that matter. Would like something pretty wide in the back.

Firestone Indy 500's 285/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear - decent tire resonably priced...

My BFG Comp-2 T/A summers are simply awesome...and my BFG Comp-2 T/A A/S I currently have on the stock rims(winter setup) do an incredible job considering the low temps and some of the conditions I have driven in..and they are 2yo...good luck!

This is gonna sound dumb but is there anyway to get a new key for my lugs? It's the set that came with the car and I seem to have misplaced the socket. The Chevy dealership I bought them from said they couldn't get one.

Nope. Need to get a new set of locking lugnuts.

You can get the old ones off by hammering on a slightly smaller socket.

Also, the "best" summer tires always has been (and may always will be) Michelin PSS's or Sport Cup 2's.

I am beyond pleased with my Firehawk Indy's great tires - these are the first summer tires I've ever owned, and seriously...they are the BEST. Go online, they have a TON of great reviews, seriously. I cannot rave about these enough they're great summer tires for our cars.

Nittos are also excellent. I have 555s on the stang and they're excellent.

Depends on usage.

And I assume you mean the rears need replacing (cost of playing around). I have 15,000 or so on mine, and this will be the last summer I get from the rears for sure.
