After they erased an entire thread when I proved their system will not work.. I would note every thread they jump in on.

Getting my car back today. Got 4 new pistons and a new intake manifold under warranty. Supposedly there was no block, head, or turbo damage.

Good deal Jason! Atleast you got it covered. Do you have a cool dealer, or rip everything off when you went in? We over look a ton of stuff here that obviously has nothing to do with a particular failure. Other places not so much, haha. What did you determine the cause was?

Good to have one of the leading R&D guys back Jason. Now finish one of your projects and take my money lol

Need to start a page with a few of your current projects and let people vote to see where the interest is at and hammer them out accordingly.

He already has a very good idea on project management. But it is nice having him back.

I put all the stock parts back on... and then some.

There is a poll here, along with a list of all current projects, and a little info on each.

"And GM starting in model year 2016 made the piston thinker in that area so they are stronger and less prone to the common failures prior."

The part number is the same from 2013-2018 so no changes were made. Only change is in the factory calibration starting 2015. Major changes were found in the tune from a stock 2015 vs 2014 LTG code.

I did a local dyno tune. It seemed the best and safest way to go. Luckily I found a really good tuner in my city.

Will a stock engine break the pistons too?
