I want a sixth gen so bad after reading reviews today. Happy for the people that have one on the way. The V6 looks to be a real winner too.
Yeah, all three engines are looking pretty awesome from where I sit. If they make something like the 1LE (and I think they will), then yes it will definitely be on par with the GT350.

If that's the case, I can only imagine the scrabble to revise the planned updates to the GT. I don't think anyone was expecting a SS this good.

Anyway, situational awareness is a good thing. Saw this on the other side of town regarding the SS. A cow isn't skeered as it gets drilled between its eyes at the slander house either.

I hope they put out a head 2 head video soon. I want to see some video, not just all of these articles. Hopefully they bring along a scat pack as well.

Great question. Ford has held that car so tight to it's chest... I recall GM handing the keys to press with the Z/28 and now the 2016 SS. They told them to come back when they needed new tires.

May not be for a couple more weeks. Their "Head 2 Head" videos are fourth Wednesday of every month.

Ford has been fine with the rags testing it.

It's the embargo that is the weird part

Agree. They were testing the GT350 in camo at the Nurburgring before we saw the first camo gen6. They've had lots of time to sort it out so you'd assume it's ready.

The last Head 2 Head posted was the ATS-V back on September 2nd. They are overdue for another one.

Also, I saw where they deleted a video in the H2H playlist.

Question

I'm sure that the new '16 SS will spank: '15 Camaro 1LE, Mustang BOSS Laguna Seca, BMW M3 & M4 & the 2015 Mustang GT
But how will it go VS his big brother's the '15 Camaro ZL1? Which one will have faster lap times?

Several members mentioned the 1LE Camaro. That was available in 2015, right? Also, I don't think the MRC and Brembo brakes will affect performance vs the GT350. Also, what does the stock GT350 come with that compares to the 2SS? I think Mustang buyers will have to order one or both of the major options to compete with the Camaro 2SS. Then the price of the Mustang will really make a difference in comparison.

If you want to be taken for real, this is the only way to go!
