JokerZ ported LT4 blower results

Not a ZL1 but the same mods that can be passed on. This is with the stock cam, stock heads and stock exhaust manifolds. No nitrous because everyone seems to ask that. Full weight C7 Z and the driver is around 215. Ported JokerZ blower, Cordes 5" intake, Cordes HX tank, Katech 103, CCP meth kit, E50, DSX low side, FIC 30's.

Also in to know the pulley setup.

What’s next for the build? Seems like heads/cam and longtubes would put you well into the 8’s. Congrats on that time

18% OD crank with a 2.4" upper. Headers, cam and heads are next.

Crazy fast! What about exhaust/cats? That's awfully loud for it to be all stock.

It has the stock exhaust manifolds but AFE cat delete pipes and I believe the Corsa X-pipe. He also has an axle back but, I’m not sure of the brand.

Borla X and factory Cat back-still nice to have that stealth mode! Axle backs are stupid money for these cars!

Does anyone port the blower for tracking? Or is that a no-no

I’m pretty sure it’ll help as long as you don’t change the pulley to spin the blower more and create more heat.

this was my line of thinking, but have zero experience with it. seems you’re making power through efficiency as long as you don’t change the pulley

Incorrect. I run a 15% lower and a ported LT4 blower (see mods). At ACS a few weeks ago with temps outside hovering 85F my IATs never exceeded 95F. At the end of the front straight my IATs matched ambient.

As long as you don’t have air in your system you will NOT overheat your SC whatsoever. I have logs to prove

Wow, that car launches hard and the A8 shifts. Any mods to the drive train? like converter, rear gear change, trans tune etc??
