What comes with a new ZL1 1LE

Guys, looking into buying a new 2019 ZL1 1LE. When looking at two different cars yesterday I noticed in the trunk of one a package of plastic pieces that from the docs with it said they were cooling pieces for power steering ducts and it said for track use only, they other car had no such parts in the trunk. My question is what should be delivered with a new ZL1 1LE attached to the car and what should I make sure they give me before I leave the dealer?

Thanks

The steering scoops and if you have an M6 some additional front trim pieces.

Also, ask for the towing pieces that go on the springs. Many dealers dump them.

There should be a tow hook in the trunk.

What are the towing pieces on the springs you speak of?
I was aware of spring spacers but this is the first I’m hearing of towing pieces.

Two hook? You mean for the front bumper?

That is what I meant the spacers for the spring... These are only to be used for towing. Do not drive with them.

So in asking for these I assume you are thinking that you can put them back into place for travelling? Great thought.

Maybe I’m wrong but weren’t those only installed on the ZL1s and not on ZLEs?
If they were installed on the ZLEs then I missed out on those.

I think alot of cars are shipped with them to keep the suspension from banging on the trip.

Yeah but for some reason I thought the ZLE didn’t get the spacers due to the different suspension from the ZL1. Again I could be wrong. Hopefully somebody could chime in.
If there were spacers in my front springs when delivered then I’m pretty confident the guy who received my car would have handed them to me. I worked beside him a couple years.
Mind you, Shiite happens and maybe the car was delivered without them or he overlooked giving them to me but he was very specific with what the car came with.
Maybe he screwed up and didn’t deliver them or maybe my car was delivered without them. I’m not gonna sweat it.

I don’t know Guys, but my used 2017 ZL1 had one spring spacer when I bought it and did some research to find out what it was and then ordered another one for a ‘just in case’ situation. The owners manual supplement mentioned them so I decided to order one and a forum member gave me the part number to order. Figured if it ever has to be put on a rollback then they would maybe keep the splitter from being damaged.

The ZL1 1LE does not come with the orange front spring spacers, because its transported by truck only (like corvettes).

ZL1 Non-1LE coupes and verts come with the spacers for transport on trains.

Mine came in a truck and had one spacer in the trunk. Maybe a mistake? I never used it.
