I'M sorry I have completely avoided this site for a while now because of the anxiety, I have filed a lawsuit for my paint and other issues.

GM, this is horrible PR. Taking care of people and treating them with dignity and respect in the end will secure your customers. These actions, or lack thereof of certainly will not.

I had a similar issue with my 2016 Black Camaro 1LT V6. On the day of purchase the salesman and I noted a couple of nicks, scratches, and a door ding which he promised would be repaired when I brought it back to the dealer the following week. After washing my new Camaro in direct sunlight I could see numerous dull patches in the paint on the rear driver quarter panel which are really difficult to photograph...long story short, it took two return trips to the dealer's paint shop to get it right and the "repaired" paint is not perfect! Disappointed in GM!

At least your dealership acknowledged the problem.

I got the worst mosaic Black car ever 539 miles in 6 months and I can't even be bothered to deal with it .. I'm just waiting for auto ZL1 and I'm making my decision on a new car and trading it in ..probable I won't give GM another chance. 45k and they can't cover the car with paint ..my car you can see thru the quarters in rear car looks like coffee brown after 1/4 windows GM should own up to the problem especially when you work hard as a middle class working person and you blow. Your cash on a nice car ...might look to get a Hellcat or gt350 instead of giving GM my hard earned cash again

I know about the coffee brown! I received a call yesterday from a higher up at GM after emailing the CEO. She was very nice and also listened to what I had to say and actually wanted to see photos. My biggest regret #1 is buying the car from the dealer I did. They are flat out horrible and DO NOT care about their customer. Hopefully GM makes this right.

After emailing the CEO of GM I got a quick response from a nice lady. She actually acknowledged my issues with the paint. I'm meeting with another dealership next week once the time changes. It will be a lot easier to show my paint problem in the darker hours. I will report back once I meet them.
