GMPP CAI Availability
I'm wondering if the GMPP CAI is available yet. I couldn't find it on a search and have been modding with only GMPP parts installed by my dealer.
Also, has anyone done a new throttle body? Does GMPP offer one? Do they void warranties? Are they worth the trouble?

I have been checking with my dealer monthly. I had orginally ordered this last August. I was finally told by Chevrolet customer service a couple of months ago that there's an Engineering problem. But they were not sure if it was ever going to be re-engineered. You'll see it on different websites, but when trying to order they finally find out that it's never been made.
I finally swap this ordered option for a painted Heritage Grill. |

It doesn't exist and I would still stay away when it finally comes out... many reputable brands such as Roto Fab and CAI are making a fantastic quality intake and now have a few years under their belt with this vehicle.
.... don't expect to see it until after the ZL1 is in full swing. I would imagine a lot of attention is going towards that model.

It does exist as it is on some GM employee Camaro's being tested. GM has not released it yet and has also not given a release date.

Doesn't exist?
The Parts guy at my dealership told me that it is being reviewed by the California Air Resources Board. It's been a few months since he said it.

From what I'm told by my source, they're actually still testing the unit and they're not trying to get it past anything that I know of.
