Air bubbles in Strips

Has anyone else had a problem with air bubbles in the Rally stripes? If so what did you do to fix it. I'm going back to the dealer's body shop but was wondering if anyone had a quick fix.

Other than using a pin, which I wouldn't do, taking it back and having them fix them (replace) is the best option.

Stripe trouble

There are wrinkles and bubbles on my Ralley Stripes. The Dealer is going to hire out and re-do them, when the new stripes arrive.

bubbles in mine went away after about a week. The crease the sub-contractor put in it did not - so I got them painted.

I have the same issues. Iam told to wait about 4 weeks, if they don't go away, they will re-do them. 2 more weeks to wait. I still have the same bubbles.

How much are you guys paying to get the rally stripes painted???
I'm thinking about painting mine on also, but do not have a clue as to how much I should pay the dealer.
Your input will be appreciated.
Thanks...

I wouldn't bother going through the dealer (unless they have a really good body shop)...they're just gonna mark-up the price. Find a good body-shop or stripe guy to do it on your own. I was quoted $1500 to remove my vinyl rally stripes and paint them on.

We had several in ours but they faded away after about 10 days. I'm sure the hot Texas weather helped them disappear.

If I had this problem , I would first take it to the dealer that installed them and see what they want to do, and then when I got home, I would take a hair dryer and put it on medium heat and hold near the bubble and see if it makes the bubble to go down...just my $.02
