V6 1LE brakes - any aftermarket options?

Are there any high-quality aftermarket options for the V6 1LE pads and rotors, that are as good on the track as OE, but also good on the street? The last time I researched this question, I didn't find any good answers. The V6 1LE has SS front brakes with base rear brakes, and I think it has a model-specific pad compound that holds up well at the track. I'm happy with the OE stuff, it's just expensive.

My Camaro is at the dealer for other service, and my advisor says the car needs all new pads & rotors, due to pad wear and "hot spots" on the rotors. I am skeptical. Before my last track day the pads looked fine, and I don't feel any shaking or pulsation. Anyhow, the dealer wants over $1600. I'm going to decline, inspect the car myself, and maybe do the job myself.

Racing brake has a sweet 2pc rotor for front. They make a 2pc real for non 1le ss but nothing for the 4cyl,v6 or Lt1 rears. Might want to check with them though

Thanks for posting this.

I've been wondering the same thing.

Can we just search the non-1LE SS aftermarket for the fronts from dealers for Hawk, StopTech, etc?

Just bought EBC Stage 9 for the front brakes. They make the stage 9 for both brembo and non brembo replacement. Was looking for something a little better then whatever my mechanic put on because they were not great in my opinion. $508 after taxes and a “Save10” promo code.

Buybrakes.con was a huge help with picking these out.
