Theoretically yes, but you will likely not see that much improvement with drag radials on a stock TCM tune. The torque management will limit throttle position in first gear, I haven't seen much better 60' than that on a stock car, with drag radials for that reason. Get rid of that torque management, and it's a completely different story.

Very enlightening to watch jorgelovesspeed video, where he shows stock trans tune vs aftermarket trans tune. ZL1 has a full dragpack, passenger seat pulled out, big gulp and flex fuel ECM tune with E55. With a stock trans tune it goes 1.63 short times at best, then with an aftermarket trans tune it goes a 1.50 short time, same engine hp and weight, he just fixed the computer. Quarter mile ends up almost 3 tenths quicker with just the trans tune being done, same day on the same track. |

I've seen closer to 1:1 between 60 ft. improvement and ET improvement. Maybe a little better than that but not by much.

Gas makes a difference too. If you're on AZ/NV/CA crap 91 you're not making as much power as east coast 93

I was a hater of the e30 guys but im going to try it before I get all my parts and tune. Im going to run 13 gallons of 93 and top off the final 6 with E85. See how that does. It should get me to that e30 range and make a bit more HP in open loop where the car is running rich as shit stock.

And for the a10 at least, in order to go a lot faster or make a lot more power you need a TCM tune as well as an ECM tune. This car is so smart and has so many protections in place to stop it from making more power and going faster, its unreal. No matter what you do to a stock tune car, its going to keep itself within its thresholds and hold you in this same bracket. There is some trickery with cooler air and E30 that can be done to lean out the car during open loop to go a tad bit faster, but what you see is basically it. Now once you get a tune and TCM tune and run some headers and e60 or e85, you can easily run 9's on a tire. Jorge proved that in his youtube videos. |

I guess Chevy saw how the Hellcats were ripping apart their driveshafts with drag radials at the track and they didn’t want the warranty claims. I plan on a ported blower and ECM/TCM tune to unleash the car. I just have to get past 1100 status. |

Car and Driver says 11.5 and my guess is they tested in favorable atmospheric conditions
