Weight savings deleting AC

No turning back now! Will running car in NASA next year and pulling engine to repair. Want to loose whatever weight I can and want to simplify under the hood.

I'm curious what the total weight of the AC system is. Would be cool if you would weigh it.

Don't feel like ripping the dash all apart, been there done that!
Wanna leave the heater if the windshield fogs up.

AC runs a separate stupid ass "stretch" belt! So stupid, no tensioner like all GM cars that I have worked on.

Oh lucky you, i beleive we are going to run into more trouble on our 2L, we will need to make some sort of dummy pulley as it uses the same belt.
