make sure you don’t put old air in the tires.

As s346k said, but what's even more important, make sure you use proper winter air. Check out this detailed guide from ChrisFix.

thanks guys. I will note that with the painted black stars that I bought I had to turn the washers sideways to pop them in.(due to a little build up of paint) very normal. I also had to chase the threads for the center caps to bolt in. when installing these rims a great tip is two start two lugnuts and then slide the rim back on those two lugnuts, now tighten those two lug nuts evenly but do not torque them all the way down. now your other three lugnuts will align perfectly and easily.
I will also note that race star has exceptional customer service. I lost a few bolts for the center caps. due to my own fault. the nice people at racestars sent me some more out. no questions asked. very very awesome customer service. |

using an impact to get the lug nuts on are key, at least with the stock racestar ones that are provided, they are tricky to get on just trying to spin with your fingers or what not.
Just becareful that you don't scratch the rims.

At first skip the washer and mount the wheel, run the lugs in and out completely a few. Maybe even rotate the wheel in between. Then mount with washers.
