Clean slate rinse less

Has anyone tried or know if it would be unwise to try and use C.G. Clean Slate as a rinse less wash? Its about time to do a full detail but it is difficult to pull my car out of the garage right now. Thanks!

I haven't used that particular one, but there's plenty of rinseless options and with a silver car you don't have to worry as much with swirls. Still with any rinseless even on lightly colored cars, technique is critical. Some of the methods are listed under this topic if you look around. One of the most important things is to use high quality plush towels and lots of them that you rotate out before they get very dirty.

Personally I wash my towels by themselves using only liquid detergent and hang them to dry.

I don’t think clean slate is a rinseless. Pretty sure you will to wash it off. May have boundingissues with wax or sealants is not rinsed off. That’s the purpose of clean slate is to take ioff waxes and sealants. If you just need to do a wash by a designated rinseless like Wolfgang Uber (which I love).

I can only assume that you want to know about clean slate because you own that product and you don't own a rinseless. Bad news, you need to buy one. Any of them. But the clean slate will not completely rinse off correctly without flooded water (hose).

This answers why I am asking. I use ech2o for my rinseless but it has been about a year since I did a polish and seal. The last time it was also polished only by hand. I need to do a strip wash to start over and was hoping I could short cut it that way. Sounds like the 2 bucket wash method is necessary. Thanks guys!
