I should have bought a ZL1

What comes to mind is an adapter with the proper pitch spline that bolts to the crank and slide the input shaft of the tranny right into place.

I suspect physically swapping the transmission in won't be the hard part. Integrating it into the software will be the problem. I was hoping the 6th gen would have debuted with a DCT -- I probably would have went that route vs. manual if they had.

Never realized the holding company of Tremec had such a diverse portfolio. After watching the video a second time and doing some digging I notice the 9070 and 9080 are OEM only products.

My first take on the video was this transmission was something any of us could purchase and use Tremec’s software. That’s not an option.

didnt know that. the ad reads as its a stand alone self learning transmission didnt see the part where it does say oem only. . http://www.tremec.com/noticias_detalle/new-tremec-dct/
the bell housing is bolt on and an adapter could be made. would need a doner gt500 i guess.

I’m with you all the way. I just happened to noticed the italic small phrase at the bottom of the article.

I agree with you because it sure presented itself as a stand-alone product.
